Israeli Prime Minister slams critics trying to paint him as a ‘third world autocrat’

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has slammed “ridiculous” criticism from those trying to paint him as a “third-world autocrat”. Mr Netanyahu said he turned Israel into one of the most liberal countries in the world. “I’m a classic believer in the balance between the three branches of government,” he told Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan. “That’s what ensures democracy and it has been thrown off balance in Israel, we have to bring it back.”
