RBA wasn’t as ‘aggressive’ as other central banks hence the higher inflation rate

The Reserve Bank of Australia wasn’t as “aggressive” as other central banks hence why it’s dealing with an inflation rate that is much higher than expected, according to GSFM Investment Strategy Advisor Stephen Miller. “Certainly it’s coming down but not anywhere near the rate that I think the Fed had hoped for,” he told Sky News Business Editor Ross Greenwood. “I think what the problem the RBA has is it wasn’t as aggressive as other central banks in tackling inflation through 2022. “It now faces an inflation rate that’s significantly higher.”
